Returns Information ~ FREE Returns For Faulty Items
We offer free returns for any faulty product purchased from our website within 28 days of the order date. Returns can be easily arranged by email upon request and free returns labels can be emailed which will then require to be printed off; if you do not have access to a printer please mention this at the start before a returns is arranged in which case, a further off collection date can be requested to allow for the free returns label to arrive by post.
We offer two methods to return products. You can either:
Take the returns to a local Collect + to where you live (there is usually a Collect + store 0.3 miles from most places in the UK which are usually situated in local everyday stores).
Or you can select a home collection whereby a courier will call at your home address on your given collection date.
If you return items ordered online from Johnson Trading by other means i.e. post or recorded courier, this will be at your expense as we offer free returns for only the two options given above ~ Collect + store drop off or home collection.
The initial postage and packaging charge if applicable is non-refundable unless informed otherwise. Goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse, so please ensure that you package them well to prevent any damage in shipping. In all cases, except where an item is faulty, goods returned must be in their original condition and will be inspected on arrival.
Please obtain a receipt for your return package which will be given to you when the item is returned by Collect +, or home collection courier, or whatever means the item is returned by, which can be used to track the item(s) you are returning, should for some reason they not arrive at our warehouse. We cannot accept liability for returned goods that we fail to receive, or for those that get damaged when shipped to us.
In the rare instance that incorrect items were sent to you, we will refund your initial delivery charge and the return delivery fee will be free. Should you choose to return items not via the free options of Collect + or home collection offered above, please return the items to us using a recorded or tracked delivery service, or by standard Royal Mail (retaining your proof of postage) with tracking number available.
Returns after 28 days of order, whereby an item is faulty, should be be referred to the manufacturer as per warranty for the given item. We suggest that your register the warranty for any given item after receipt so that the warranty has already been validated on the rare occasion the item should go faulty within the first year.
